The Importance of Church
Hebrews 3:13 - But exhort one another daily, while it is called today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
There are times in all our lives when we hurt emotionally. When these times come the first reaction is to isolate ourselves from others. We should understand that isolation is one of the tools of the enemy to keep us from the encouragement we can receive from other believers.
We all need the support, help, encouragement, and accountability of other believers. We need others that we can talk to that will help us to better understand what God’s will and way for our lives truly is. When you have godly Spirit-filled people loving you, encouraging you, reminding you of God’s goodness and His faithfulness, that’s when you can experience the fullness of God’s love, grace, His power, and His plans for your life.
We read in Ephesians 5:25, …. Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. That’s not talking about the building or the structure, but the people who make the church, the body of believers.
Jesus revealed who God is to us all. Jesus wants all believers to reveal to the world who He is. As we learn in Colossians 1:27, Christ in you, the hope of Glory.
