                      Wise unto that which is good.

 

I Peter 3: 15-16, A good conscience, some folks say, “Let your conscience be your guide!” But our conscience must be trained to have the Holy Spirit as its Guide! There are different types of consciences in the Bible.

 

Acts 23:1, Paul said he had a “good conscience.”

I Timothy 3:9, “pure conscience.”

Hebrews 10:22, mentions an “evil conscience.”

I Corinthians 8:7,  a “weak conscience.”

I Timothy 4:2, a “seared conscience.”

 

I Peter 3:10, “For he that would love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. Good Speaking, speak well of those around you and you will see good days, the Bible says!

 

I Peter 2:12 Good Works, Peter is saying the same thing Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, “Let your light so shine among men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” 

 

We should be wise concerning a good conscience, good speaking, and good works. 

 

Simple concerning evil!

2 Peter 2:1 Evil Speaking, we should lay aside evil speaking!

 

James 4:11, speak not evil one of another, brethren, 

 

Titus 1:15 Conscience Defiled, unto the pure, all things are pure; but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.


Romans 13: 3 Evil Works, “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil…”
