“Too   Busy”

I Kings 20:40

1 Kings 20:40 - And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him, so shall thy judgment be; thyself hast decided it.

We live in a busy society. We live in a time when everyone says they know God. But things are not getting done for God as they were in the past.

Are you too busy to have time for the Lord?

For many believers we are so busy that we hardly have time to think about going to church on Sunday morning, and if we do it is rush, rush, rush.

Folks stay up late on Saturday night, sleep too late on Sunday morning, rush to eat breakfast, yell at the kids to get dressed, hurry to the car to get loaded up, go back in the home to get the Bibles, argue on the way to church about whose fault it is that you’re late, plop down in a pew and begin to think about where you’re going for lunch.

The above scenario is really not conducive to having a time of worship and fellowship. Slow down, plan ahead, be prepared spiritually, physically, and emotionally to hear from the Lord as His Word is taught and preached.

Ephesians 5:16 - Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
