Hotline to Heaven

 

Psalm 119:50 - This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. 

If you have a special need today, remember that in God’s Word He will help with any situation you may be facing today. As believers we are assured that the Holy Spirit can take the Holy Scriptures and speak directly to each one of us whatever we may be facing.

There’s an old hymn we sing entitled, “The Lily of the Valley,” that speaks clearly to this, and it goes like this.

“In sorrow He’s my comfort, in trouble He’s my stay, He tells me every care on Him to roll. He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star, He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.”

Jesus is our Hope and our Help from the Word of God by the Spirit of God. His Word is unique in that it speaks to whatever situation, storm, or affliction you may be facing.

Our responsibility is to spend time reading and meditating on Scripture so that God can speak to our hearts and help us as we pray and ask Him to help us to understand His will for our lives.
