Seven Statements

 

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 

Seven statements are made in this one verse from God’s Word. Seven statements that will help each one of us in this new year.

  1. Fear thou not – As believers we can choose faith over fear. We read in 1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 
  2. I Am with thee – The Word of God assures us in Hebrews 13:5 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
  3. Be not dismayed – Here we are instructed to not be discouraged. It is easy to get discouraged with all the information that bombards us everyday but we can do as David did in  1 Samuel 30:6 - ……..but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. 
  4. I Am thy God – The gods of this world will let you down, but our God, the True and the Living God will never let you down.
  5. I will strengthen thee - Nehemiah 8:10 -…… for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
  6. I will help thee - Psalm 121:2 - My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 
  7. I will uphold thee - Psalm 51:12 - Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 

What amazing promises we have in the Word of God. Praise the Lord!
