Walk Before God

 

Genesis 17:1 - And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me and be thou perfect.

God is telling Abram here to walk before Him sincerely and with integrity. Abram is 99 years old, and we see there is no stopping place in our service for the Lord. 

A person can live a godly life for many years, but then make a mistake, or get off the path God has for that person to walk, and few will remember the years of service, all that will be remembered is the time the person got off track in his service to the Lord. 

An evangelist made this remark that we should all adhere to; “I want to start well. Live well, and end well.”

As we “Walk before God,” He will be Faithful, even when we are not!
