Walk Honestly

1 Thessalonians 4:12 - That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

There is an old saying that goes like this,

Your walk talks and

Your talk talks, but

Your walk talks louder

Than your talk talks!

A lot of folks can talk a good game concerning Christian living, but they lack the evidence in their way of living.

God used the Apostle Paul to teach us to walk honestly. As believers it is very important that we walk honestly before God and men.

A child of God should not do questionable things because we are to “walk honestly toward them that are without.” That means that all dealings with unbelievers are to be fully honest. God will judge us if we do not walk honestly.

We are also told in Romans 13:13 - Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

In a time when dishonesty is accepted from politicians, media, and in many walks of life, as Christians, let’s walk honestly!
