There’s More

 

Matthew 10:39 - He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. 

There’s an old poem that goes like this; 

There's More, There's More

We can only see a little of the ocean, a few miles distant from the rocky shore, but out there beyond our eyes' horizon, there's more, there's more.

We can only see a little of God's loving, a few rich treasures from His mighty store, but out there beyond our eyes' horizon, there's more, there's more.

 

The cross was not the end for Christ. We know that three days later He arose. He appeared to many of His followers. He gave us His promise that one day He will come again and set up His Kingdom. 

There is more to the Christian life after putting our trust in the finished work at calvary. Many think the Christian life is just losing our life here to gain eternal life in Heaven. We must understand that to deny self, to die to self, is to be alive in Christ. 

Colossians 1:27 - To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

As believers, we have life, that life that Christ promised us in 

John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly
