Worthy of your Trust

John 20:29 - Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed.

Are you overwhelmed by fears and doubts today? You may think yourself full of faith, but if you’re ever frightened by what could happen or what the future may hold – then your trust in God may not be as strong as it should be.

It is important that you realize that genuine faith means knowing that the Father will provide His best for you as you walk with Him. Although what He perceives as most beneficial for you may be different from what you envision, you can be confident that He understands what you really need. The One who created you ultimately knows what will truly satisfy your soul – even better than you do.

So, what is making you anxious today? Is there something you fear you’ll never receive or achieve? Does it seem as though He’s taking a long time answering some important request? Trust God, you may not see what He is doing, but that is the essence of faith – not seeing but still believing. The Lord will provide what you need. And if God does not give you what your heart presently longs for, it’s certainly because He has something far better planned for you.
