Will the End be Hello or Goodbye?

Luke 16:19-31

 

Verse 22 says Lazarus was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom, but verse 23 tells us the rich man in hell, in torments, looked up at Lazarus. 

 

Some things learned after death, 

Hebrews 9:27

           1. Death is not the end;

 

Abraham was alive, Lazarus was alive, and the rich man was alive!



          2. He had all of his senses;

 

He saw, he heard, he felt pain, he thirsted, he was concerned for his brothers, 

 

         3. He realized others need to listen to the Word of God;

 

Verse 31 Abraham says, If they hear nor Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

 

Well One did rise from the dead and Abraham was right, people still don’t believe, people still want to go their own way, people still won’t hear what thus saith the Lord!

Trust Jesus, then tell others the importance of them trusting Christ as their Savior.
