The Battle is His
Psalm 20:6-8 - Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen and stand upright.
Is there a battle before you today – one that seems impossible to win? Then fight it on your knees in submission to the One who can triumph for you. Don’t depend on your own weapons, strategies, or resources; you already know your abilities in this situation are insufficient. Rather, allow Him to be your Commander-in-Chief. In order to achieve the victory, He has for you, you must surrender yourself to Him fully.
What does this mean for you? God may call you to let go of some of your goals to accomplish the plans He has for you. Likewise, you may need to step out in faith when it’s uncomfortable or even frightening to do so. But no matter how challenging His commands may seem, obey Him anyway. Trust His direction. He is a skilled and mighty Warrior who has never lost a battle. He will never let you down.
