God’s Presence

 

Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 

As a believer God is always with you in the Person of the Holy Spirit. We read in Hebrews 13:5 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

God was with Moses and the children of Israel in the wilderness, He was with Joshua and the children of Israel as they crossed the Jordan River. The children of Israel had sinned, complained and grumbled along the way, but God still was with them. He still supplied them with daily bread and water.

God was with David as he faced Goliath. God was with Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego when they were thrown in the fiery furnace. God was with Daniel in the Den of Lions. And God is with you as a believer whatever you may be going through.  

Draw strength and boldness from the awareness that Jesus is with you.

Ephesians 3:16-19 - That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
