Love One Another

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.  Romans 13:8

Prejudice or hatred of any person because of his or her racial, ethnic, or religious background is wrong. God labels it sin.

After all, God created every one of us, and when we hate someone who is different from us, we are hating someone whom God has made and who is valuable in His sight. Every human being is created in God's image, and although sin has blurred that image in all of us, every single one of us still bears the mark of our Creator.

We also must never hate people who are different from us because Jesus Christ died for them. Jesus didn't die to save just one race or one group of people; Jesus died for all. The BIble says that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son" (John 3:16). Heaven will include individuals "from every kindred and tongue and people and nation" (Revelation 5:9).

Ask God to free you from any prejudice that lurks in your heart. Ask Christ to fill you with His love. Prejudice flees when we see others through Jesus' eyes.
