But We See Jesus
Hebrews 2:9, “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man."
The Apostle Paul made this statement in the previous verse, "...But now we see not yet all things put under him." Paul is showing the Christians that it doesn't really matter if we understand everything, or if we can see everything clearly. The only thing that truly matters in life is if we can see Jesus. If we can see Jesus, we can make it through any heartache that comes our way.
Keeping our eyes on Jesus is what is going to allow us to make it through whatever problems we may face. I have been through a lot in my life, and the only thing that has brought me through those times was seeing Jesus. It was seeing Jesus that brought the three Hebrew children through the fiery furnace. It was seeing Jesus that brought Stephen through his stoning. It was seeing Jesus that brought John through the loneliness of the Isle of Patmos. If we can see Jesus, we can make it.
Some may not see a way out of their financial troubles, but they can see Jesus. Their finances may be a mess and they may wonder if they will ever see the end of their financial troubles, but tell them to keep your eyes on Jesus. That is how to make it through.
There are those who may not see a way out of their current situation, but we can tell them to look to Jesus.
There are those who have a loved one sitting in a prison cell wondering if they will ever see the outside again, but they can see Jesus.
There are those who may be in an abusive relationship and see no way out, but they can look to Jesus.
Whatever problems you, I, or anyone faces today, we must keep our eyes on Jesus. He is all we need through any problem, and His presence is what will bring us through whatever it is we face.
