Understanding the Love of God

The love of God is great, it is everlasting, sacrificial, and personal!

When we finally grasp this true concept of the Love of God, some things will begin to happen in our lives.

  1. We realize our priorities are wrong; the Apostle Paul taught us.

Philippians 3:13 - Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

  1. We realize material things don’t mean as much as they used to. We are taught in Philippians 3:8 - Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
  2. We realize how important our brothers and sisters in Christ are! We read in 1 John 3:14 - We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

As believers we are to allow the love of God to flow to us and through us to others.
