Motivational Gifts
Ephesians 4:8 - Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.
Let’s look at the motivational gifts God has given.
Romans 12:6 - Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
The gift of prophecy is given to challenge others by declaring God’s Truth and calling for action.
Romans 12:7a - … Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: Ministry is the gift of serving, it’s the gift of service to others. The ability to recognize and willingness to get involved in helping others.
Romans 12:7b - ………. or he that teacheth, on teaching; This gift is the ability to explain truth so that others can understand and apply it.
Romans 12:8a - Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: This is the gift of being able to comfort others during difficult times.
Romans 12:8b - ………. he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; This is the gift of giving, not just monetary gifts, but also the gifts of giving of your time and talents.
Romans 12:8c ……. he that ruleth, with diligence; this is the gift of Leadership. This gift involves leading by example, the ability to urge others to follow.
Romans 12:8d - ……… he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. This gift enables a person to empathize with, to cheer, and show compassion to those who are hurting.
