Witnessing for Jesus

 

Acts 1:8 - But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 

I am so thankful that someone shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with me so many years ago. Pastor Winfred Garner preached about the saving grace of Jesus, the Holy Spirit convicted my heart, I went down to the altar and trusted Christ as my Savior. My life has not been the same since. I have not always been faithful, but God has, and I thank and praise Him for His faithfulness. 

Who told you about Jesus? Many folks have trusted Christ because of a loving and concerned friend that prayed and witnessed to them.

Everyone needs the Lord. Even people who will argue with you and resist your suggestions and your testimony of the goodness of God and the redeeming power of Jesus Christ. They need to experience the life changing power of a right relationship with our Heavenly Father that only comes through the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Keep telling people the old, old story that others can be a new creature in Christ.
