Good, Not Good

Genesis 2:18 - And the LORD God said, “it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.”

When you read the story of creation it is interesting to note how at the end of each day God saw that what He had created that day was good! Day one, Genesis 1:3-4 God created light, and He saw that it was good. Days two and three, God divided the land and the seas and saw that it was good. On the fourth day God created the stars, planets, sun, and moon, and God saw that it was good. On the fifth day God created all the sea creatures and He saw that it was good. On day six God created animal life and saw that it was good, then on that same day He created man. This is where we learn God saw something that was not good. We see in Genesis 2:18 - And the LORD God said, “it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.”

God saw that He wanted man to have companionship, so He created woman. God created you to have relationship and fellowship with others. Relationships and fellowship are very important to God.

Our Heavenly Father wants you to know that people are more important than things. The people God places in your life are your priority. Give them your time and your attention today.
