Encouragement from The Lord-3

1 Samuel 30:6 - And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

We saw in a previous study that we also can encourage ourselves in the Lord as David did. We saw that we can do that by Realizing who we belong to as we learned in Romans 8:15-17. And we can be encouraged by realizing what we are worth to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Romans 5:5-8. You can also be encouraged by:

  1. Realizing your potential! Romans 8:11,  But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Understand that God can use our weaknesses to show Himself strong to a lost and a dying world. It is not in our own abilities that God is looking at, but in our availability to yield ourselves to Him for His honor and for His glory.

The Apostle Paul said I can do ALL things through Christ, so can you as you surrender to His will for your life.
