Rest in the Lord!
Psalm 37:7
Entering into God’s rest as we are told in Hebrews 4:1 - Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Don’t miss the rest that is available to you and me as believers.
Rest in the Will of God.
Some may ask, “How do I know the will of God for my life?”
The answer to that question is look to the Word of God. We are told in Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
God’s will is that we trust Christ as our Saviour. We read in 2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance
God’s Will is for us to walk as children of light, in all goodness and righteousness, and truth, according to Ephesians 5:9, God’s will is for us to reprove the unfruitful works of darkness. And we do that by speaking the Truth in Love!
We are told in Ephesians 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 4:15 - But speaking the truth in love,
When we do these things we can Rest in the Will of God.
