The Blood of Christ

Let’s continue to learn about the Blood of Christ.

We have seen in a previous devotion that the Blood of Christ is Innocent Blood, Precious Blood, Sufficient, Final, Cleansing, and

Conquering. Let’s see what it does for you and me.

  • Redeems you and IRoman 3:24, “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.”

Thank God I have been redeemed! I was on the shelf unused and unwanted until Jesus came along and redeemed me and made me free, made me right with God, enabled me to be spiritually born again to renew the relationship with God so that by Him I can fulfill His purposes for my life! Praise God!

1 Peter 1:18 - Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

1 Peter 1:19 - But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

  • Reestablishes our relationship with GodEphesians 2:13, 16 – “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ, verse 16, And that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby.”

Not only have you and I as believers been redeemed, we have been reconciled, the statement has been balanced by the blood of Jesus, not only has it been balanced, He has wiped mine and your debt clean! Hallelujah, Glory to God!
