The Blood of Christ – 3

 

We have studied the importance of the Blood of Christ and what it does for us. Let’s continue to look at what it can do in our lives.

 

1. Justifies You and I – Romans 5:9 – “Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Not only has His blood REDEEMED us and RECONCILED us, we see here that the blood of Christ has JUSTIFIED us. Do you know what that means? I think if we actually comprehend the depth and the breadth of that statement we all would be rejoicing and shouting to God be the Glory both now and forever. To be justified means that we have been made, “JUST AS IF WE HAD NEVER SINNED!” JUSTIFIED before the TRUE and the LIVING GOD!

 

2. Makes Peace – Colossians 1:20 - And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 

John 14:27 -P eace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Romans 15:13 - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

 

You will never know the peace with God, peace of conscience, peace of mind, and peace of soul until you stand at the foot of the cross and identify yourself with Christ by faith. There is the secret of peace, the peace of God.

 

Redeems, reestablishes, justifies, and makes peace.
