Encouragement in the Word of God!

 

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 

 

Isaiah 41:10 - there are seven encouraging statements in that one verse; an encouraging statement for each day of the week.

 

  1. Fear thou not - 2 Timothy 1:7- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
  2. For I am with thee - Hebrews 13:5- Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
  3. Be not dismayed - 1 Chronicles 28:20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
  4. For I am thy God – Self-explanatory – Is He your God?
  5. I will strengthen thee - 1 Peter 5:10- But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
  6. I will help thee - John 14:26- But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 
  7. I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - Psalm 118:16- The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.


Revelation 1:17 - And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
