The Goodness of God
Psalm 57:1-11
The goodness of God is proclaimed throughout this Psalm and many others. David was a man after God’s own heart according to Acts 13:22. We see that love, reverence, and respect that David had for the Lord in these few verses of Scripture.
In verse two of this Psalm, we hear David speaking of God say, “He performeth all things for me.” David knew God and God knew David.
We read in Genesis chapter one that God created the world, then we see in Colossians 1:17 that by Him all things consist.
Not only did He create the universe, but He keeps it all functioning as He wants it too.
I suppose the environmentalist have never read Genesis 8:22 - While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
It is all in Our Heavenly Father’s capable Hands. He is a personal, all-powerful God. Praise Him today!
