God is Able - 2

 

2 Corinthians 9:8 - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 

We saw in the previous devotion that God is able to Deliver. Today we see in Jude 1:24 - Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 

We see here that God is able to keep!   Thank God that He is able to keep. We might wonder sometimes as a young Christian if we will be able to continue in the faith. We may ask ourselves, “Do I have the strength to hold out?” Then we discover that He is the one that does the holding! 

Joh 10:28 - And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 

Joh 10:29 - My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 

He is the Good Shepherd and we can be sure He will keep each of His sheep.
