Receive His Wisdom

James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 

 

Do you ever find yourself without any sense of direction in your decisions? Do you find yourself thinking, I just don’t know what to do? If so, understand this is the Lord calling you to listen to Him.

God wants to help you---to be generous in directing you and setting the course for your life. Therefore, if you don’t know what to do, the best solution is always seek the Lord. That doesn’t mean you sit and do nothing; rather, you are vigilant for how God is responding to you---for what He is revealing to you and doing in your situation.

Perhaps you’d say, “I’ve already sought God, He’s not answering.” But here is the key; you “must ask in faith without doubting” (James 1:6). Maybe the real issue is that you don’t have faith that He will respond to you or that the answer He’s given is right.

Friend, God is faithful. Stop doubting. Do the last thing God told you to do, and keep seeking Him. He will show you what to do---and generously at that.
