Open and Closed Doors

 

Revelation 3:7 - And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 

God has the power to open any closed door – nothing is too difficult for Him to overcome. Though He may let things that you think are important remain closed. Have you ever wondered why at times the Lord will keep doors shut?

It could be that He is leaving it shut because He knows it would not be what is best for you. He always wants what is best for His children. It could be the result of God wanting to make you stronger as you wait patiently for Him to open the door.

A closed door that God does not open could be a matter of disciplining you for not completely obeying Him.

If you come face to face with a closed door, don’t worry, just keep trusting and obeying God and experience His best for your life.
