Faith Building

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16

How can your faith become stronger?

First, be sure of your commitment to Christ. Have you acknowledged your sins to God and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord? Sometimes a person's faith is weak because he or she has never clearly taken this step of commitment. If you haven't done this--or if your aren't sure--ask Christ to come into  your life today--and He will.

Second, build your faith on the truths of God's Word. The Bible is spiritual "food" given to us by God to strengthen our faith. In the Scriptures, we learn of God's love for us, and how He wants us to live. Without a firm knowledge of God's Word, our faith will always be vague and uncertain.

Finally, draw strength from other believers. You need to hear God's Word as it is preached and taught. Bible studies, prayer groups, and other programs can also help you grow stronger in your faith.

Don't stand still in your faith. Use the resources God has given you to move forward in confidence and joy.
