Changes

Psalm 55:19 - God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

Do you ever think about how things change? We are in the Fall season of the year. But we also experience Winter, Spring, and Summer.

We have days, nights, cloudy times and clear times, rainy weather and dry weather. It seems that everything about creation involves changes. In the verse above we read, “because they have no changes, they fear not God.”

What is it that we must change to realize the importance of reverencing God? We read in Romans 12:1-2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We learn here that our minds must be transformed or changed. How do we do that? Again, we read in Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: To have the mind of Christ we must allow the Word of God to renew our minds to change from a worldly perspective to a godly perspective.

Allow God from His Word by the Holy Spirit to change your mind so that you can know and prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
