Patience is a Virtue
Hebrews 10:36
"For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."
Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
First, we must know that God has a will for our lives. He has a plan that is perfect that He wants each of us to accomplish in our lives.
Second, we see in Romans 12:1, it is our responsibility to present ourselves to God. He will not force us to serve Him!
Third, we see in Hebrews 10:36 that His blessings that He has promised to come will only come after we have yielded ourselves to Him.
Fourth, don’t be disappointed if things don’t happen exactly when you think they should. Our Heavenly Father is not constrained by time.
Fifth, memorize this verse in Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Patience is a virtue. Practice that in your life.
