Our Words

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.  Proverbs 13:3

The words we speak hold immense power. They can build up or tear down, inspire or discourage. In our daily interactions, let us remember the weight of our words and strive to speak wisely, choosing to uplift and encourage those around us. The wisdom we seek is not merely knowledge but the ability to discern when and how to speak with grace and truth.

In Proverbs, we are reminded of the profound impact our words can have. Speaking wisely is not just about what we say, but how we say it. Each conversation is an opportunity to share kindness, wisdom, and truth.

In a world filled with noise, our words can be a beacon of light. When we choose to speak thoughtfully, we not only honor God but also foster deeper connections with others. Reflect on your daily interactions: are your words enriching or depleting? Let us strive to be vessels of wisdom, ensuring our speech aligns with the heart of God, bringing healing and hope.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father,

Grant me the wisdom to speak with love and truth. Help me to reflect Your light in my conversations and to use my words to uplift others. Teach me to listen as much as I speak, and to always seek Your guidance. May my words be a source of encouragement and strength to those around me. In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen.
